Despite the rest of your post being nonsense, this part is very true.
Turkington probably could have been champion before now, if he had been more aggressive like the field around me. But if he wins it this year, nobody can possibly criticise him for the style in which he does it.
If they want to call you that, be offended but don't have a hissy fit. Boohoo, it's an internet forum, there are no laws, there are no rights or wrongs, every forum is a dictatorship. Accept it or get off the Internet. Simple as that.
No it's not against the rules although all moderators know that you're the same person. Why you'd want to do that is beyond me. This whole thing is a sham!
I understand that; I wasn't trying to upset you; I just felt that it was an important lesson to all leagues and this 'cast was a good example for me to use. I'm sure you guys can get a good 'cast together, just combined with the stress of a brand new league (with the word crap in the title) it was an odd decision to do a broadcast at the same time.
Maybe you should ask for money to improve the quality? Just a suggestion.
I remember that, and back then I was thinking the exact same thing as I was when I heard about this 'cast. Luckily Wilko was able to get past the emotional scarring and turned into a commentator who said mostly things that made sense.
I always say this, (exactly what Chris has said) you MUST MUST MUST get your event rules and regs sorted before you even consider making a broadcast, or if you really want a broadcast, make sure you have a broadcast team that is totally separate from the admin side of things. iTCC were able to do that. I can't watch the broadcast but judging from CSF's comments I can see what's happening without even looking.
Buy a new S2 licence with desired username. 2 advantages:
1) You have a new username
2) You have helped further the development of LFS and the maintenance of Victor's awesome car.
I just want to show up, qualify and race; not wait a week/a day between sessions! I like qualifying in that it's quite short and tense. 1 hour 45 mins of quali seems too much to me, if I'm honest. The half hour extreme sessions were more fun and also frustrating, which is what the league should be about; being absolutely on the edge of control but not over the edge. Giving the drivers nearly 2 hours to hotlap and smash into barriers isn't right; you might as well just take hotlaps from LFSW. It's too easy! Just my insight there.
The Beta testers are named in the credits when you close LFS.
You have to be very trustworthy and not leak data about the upcoming patches. For that reason, most people on this forum are completely useless for that because the temptation to show off the test patch would be just too great for some guys.
As far as I can remember, a patch a while back changed "look behind" to pressing both of the left/right look keys. This can't be used in race cars such as GTRs and Single Seaters due to the reasons you described.
